Mr. Goyal stumbled upon self-storage kind of property 12 years ago after buying and investing in other kinds of real estate. The holdings are scattered around Long Island, NYC and New Jersey.
Born in Jaipur, Mr. Goyal finished his schooling in Dehra Dun. He attended Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University earned M. Com and moved to US for higher education after working in family business for few years. He graduated with MBA and worked for several years for international CPA firm KPMG and moved into more challenging assignments with Mitsubishi Corporation.
While with Mitsubishi Corporation, Mr. Goyal moved up the ladder to top management and travelled the world in search for new ventures for the Japanese Conglomerate. He was involved in Mitsubishi Corp. Foundation, (Non-Profit) which promoted biodiversity conservation, sustainable environmental justice and education. As a part of highly funded charitable organization, he had opportunity to fund various types of projects including Global Coral Reef Conservation, New York Cares and Earth Watch Institute.
Corporate environment taught him a structured type of management style which he implemented in his own business. He believes in giving back to the community and helping people who are less fortunate. He is actively involved in Dushehra and Ganesh Mahotsav, Assoc. of Indians in America, Agrawal Samaj USA, Maheshwari Mahasabha, IACV, RANA and Lions Club of Nassau County.
He is involved in funding and promoting several Charitable and religious organizations in India and USA. He lives in Old Brookville, Long Island with his wife and two children
