IALI celebrates Valentine Day

Festooned with Roses, Huges, Kisses, Smiles, Food & Entertainment in Valentine's dance & dinner celebration in Akabar Banquet hall.

Largely clad in red attire symbolic of love and romance and fully accessorized with complementary piecess, some 75 members, including their spouses, of the India Association of Long Island (IALI) on Feb 14, 2022 defied the unpleasant and chilly air following as now shower the day before to attend the annual valentine’s Day celebration at Akbar Banquet Hall in Garden City, Long Island.
The fundraising event was a grand success, says IALI president Bina Sabapathy, who excitedly gushed that all members had a wonderful time as they enjoyed a sumptuous dinner comprising exquisite Indian cuisine amid lively DJ music. Members also participated in a raffle drawing, games, donations and rose-giving, as they also witnessed performances by an exotic belly dance, who took centerstage entertaining guests at the hall emblazoned with festive heart-shaped ballons and decorative arrangement.
Aprat from amazing food and drinks, the fun-filled dinner and dance provided a medium for social gathering of families and friends to meet and exchange pleasantries with plenty of hugs, kisses, smiles and laughter, capped off with floor dancing and merrymaking. Among IALI Executive Council members in attendance were president Bina Sabapathy, vice president Hargovind Gupta, secretary Pradeep Tandon, treasure Suresh Bansal and membsers at large Renu Kapoor, Dr. Abha Bhatnagar, Dr. Neeru Bhambri, Ravindra Kumar, Dr. Ramesh Gupta and Kiran Arora. Several past IALI presidents also graced the iccasion, including Dr. Anila Midha, Dr. Sukhvinder ranu, Satnam Singh Parhar, Gobind Munjal, Bina Sabapathy, Gunjan Rastogi and Dr. Binod Verma.
